One of the most fascinating things about New York is actually the fact that there are four seasons here. Yes, they do exist, all four of them!!
Coming from Sardinia, where we go from winter to summer in no time at all, this is something that still amazes me. In New York we have a freezing winter, a mild spring, a hot summer and a magnificent fall.
Yes, autumn is definitely my favorite one and during the foliage season, the trees wear their colorful party clothes, going from green purple, red and orange to end up with a very bright yellow, before losing their leaves or going brown. It’s a gorgeous scenery you should not miss if you happen to be here during that time. Even Central Park is a feast for the eyes, but an outing into the woods and on the hills outside the city is a great option and fun alternative to the usual city tours. It’s also one of the best ways to unplug for those who actually live here.
But I will let the pictures speak to you to make you understand how beautiful is the show that this season puts up for us.
